U13 REP Tryouts (Gananoque Minor Hockey)

Hello GMHA Families, This weekend marks the return of minor hockey to Gananoque, albeit in a different format than previous years, but nevertheless we are back!! We would like to go over a few things to help everyone with the new protocols in place.

There are no in person clinics this year for those wishing to be a coach or need to renew their certification. Hello GMHA Families: Just sharing an update from the executive. Currently we are awaiting on information from the OHF and the Town as to the requirements for the return to play, based on this we can then determine what our programming will look like. Once we obtain this information we will communicate the plans moving forward. There are many unanswered questions at this time that I am sure all of us have i.e. can we play outside our health unit? The GMHA continues to receive updates from the Ontario Hockey Federation on what a return to play may look like come September or thereafter. With the unknown we are also continuing to work closely with our recreational facility staff to plan out what return to play will look like and how we can effectively implement the program when we are given the go ahead.
