As the 2024–2025 season wraps up, the Gananoque Minor Hockey Association would like to take a moment to thank everyone who made this year unforgettable.
To our incredible volunteers—your time, energy, and commitment are the backbone of GMHA. Without you, we simply wouldn't be able to provide this amazing hockey experience for our players. We appreciate each and every one of you!

We’re proud to recognize a few outstanding individuals who went above and beyond this season:
✨ Coach of the Year (U11 and Below): Jarred Howard Jarred stepped into coaching with limited experience but a big heart and a passion for the game. He led his team to the semi-finals of the Kids 4 Kids Tournament, earning the respect and appreciation of both players and parents with his perseverance, positive attitude, and dedication. Great job, Jarred!
✨ Coach of the Year (U13 and Above): Geoff Scott Geoff was involved in coaching four teams across the U13 to U15 levels. His unwavering commitment, preparedness, and leadership helped guide players to success in both regular season and tournament play. Geoff, your impact on player development was outstanding—thank you!
✨ Manager of the Year: Amy Currie Fun fact: Amy enrolled the U15 Red Team in three tournaments—and they brought home gold from two of them! 🥇🥇 From coordinating schedules to keeping communication flowing, Amy made sure things ran smoothly. Her kindness and quirky sense of humour made her a favourite among both parents and players. Way to go, Amy!
✨ Volunteer of the Year: Danielle Jean Danielle served as Secretary and Social Media Coordinator on the GMHA executive while managing two U15 teams. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep families informed, promote team achievements, and celebrate player successes throughout the season. Her dedication to both the organization and the spirit of the game was truly amazing. Thank you, Danielle!
