Playoffs are coming ... playoffs are coming!
Playoffs are upon us ...

The ICHL teams are in the midst of their playoffs right now, on their way to ICHL Championship Weekend -- March 3,4,5.

Our U15 and U18 teams are fighting it out in the A Pools with hopes of being crowned League Champions for the 2021-2022 hockey season. The U11 and U13 teams are in the thick of things in the battle for top spot in the B Pools.

On the REP side our U11 and U13 will be starting their playoff runs on March 3. It is a new and exiciting format this year for our REP teams!!!  For the first time, in recent memory, EOMHL League Standings will mean something!!  Standings will be the determining factor as to where teams will play for a spot in the OMHA Champhionships, base category is no longer being used.

Teams will be split into three tiers based on ones performance over the season -- this means that teams will then be playing teams of similar calibre!  The top team(s) in each tier will than go on to represent the EOMHL in the OMHA Championship Tournament weekends - to be held in the first two weekends of April.  The Tournament will be in either Windsor or Barrie depending on division and tier.

For a full breakdown of the Road to the OMHA Championship read the attached article.

THE FIRST GOAL IS HAVING FUN. The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program that provides opportunities for kids aged four to nine to play house league sports. The philosophy of the program is not based on winning or losing, but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just being a kid. Tim Hortons currently supports more than 300,000 children on teams in hockey, soccer, ringette, lacrosse, softball and baseball leagues in Canada. Our sponsorship includes jerseys, coaching tools, participation medals and a local “Timbits Jamboree” to help kick off, or wrap up each season. For more information on registering for a Timbits Program in your community, please contact your local minor sports association.
