GMHA Hockey Registration, COVID -19 and what you need to know….

Please complete registration by clicking on GMHA Hockey Registration During COVID 19 on the main page of the website

If you are registering more than one child please complete a form for each one.

On June 2nd there was a Zoom meeting with OMHA president Bob Hill, Executive Director Ian Taylor and BD/Communications Matt Rhodes. The meeting was to provide associations with information and direction for next season in a question/answer format. Meeting confirmed we are ALL still awaiting direction from the Ontario Government on how/when/if we will be able to proceed. OMHA’s goal for returning to play hockey is after Labour Day.

GMHA Registration for the 2020-2021 is open and we strongly encourage families to register!! However, at this present time we are unable to collect any further registration fees. For those who have registered already, their fees are being held in trust and are not being used until the length and structure of the 2020-2021 season has been determined.

With the inability to collect registration fees we are having to change, for the time being, our registration process. Currently the HCR registration system is blocked. To register we require the completion of the “registration survey” on the GMHA website and no $$ will be collected at this time. For returning participants we simply will need your name, current address (proof of address may be required) and what levels of hockey they will be playing. For new registrants we will require name, address (proof of address will be required), DOB and what level of hockey.

Any questions regarding registration can be forwarded to [email protected] and we will get back to you.

Stay safe and we hope to see you at the rink soon!!

THE FIRST GOAL IS HAVING FUN. The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program that provides opportunities for kids aged four to nine to play house league sports. The philosophy of the program is not based on winning or losing, but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just being a kid. Tim Hortons currently supports more than 300,000 children on teams in hockey, soccer, ringette, lacrosse, softball and baseball leagues in Canada. Our sponsorship includes jerseys, coaching tools, participation medals and a local “Timbits Jamboree” to help kick off, or wrap up each season. For more information on registering for a Timbits Program in your community, please contact your local minor sports association.
