Tournament Recaps
Submitted By Administration on Sunday, January 5, 2020
A huge shout out to all the players, coaches, managers, trainers and parents, from near and far, who attended our tournaments in Gan over the Christmas Holidays!!

Thank you to the fans who came down to the arena to support their teams and watch the games.

THANK YOU to all the parents and volunteers from all our teams who manned the raffle tables, sold 50/50 tickets, and updated the scores.

To our timekeepers -- THUMBS UP on a great job!!

THANK YOU to Mary and Jackie for their many hours running the canteen during the tournaments and to the Arena Staff for all their work in the up keep of the arena and being patient when games ran over.

Special thank you to those on the tournament committee (Jeremy, Sarah, Mike, Catherine, and Marilynn) for their countless hours behind the scene in organizing and running all these tournaments.

TOURNAMENT WINNERS ..........

Gananoque House League Challenge

Atom House -- Gananoque Islanders

Gananoque Holiday Classic
Atom REP -- Frontenac Flyers
Peewee REP -- Gananoque Islanders

Scott Easton Memorial Tournament
Midget -- South Grenville

The bantam house players were all winnders when they made the most of a bad day as Mother Nature reaked havoc on the day of their tournament forcing it to be cancelled. Our two teams plus any of the players from the other four teams that showed up played an old fashioned game of hockey where the sticks were thrown in a pile and teams then picked.
