Message from the President
Good Evening GMHA, welcome to the 2019-2020 season!

The executive would like you to know we are focused to continue to provide competitive, exciting and fun hockey at both the competitive and inter-community level.

We will be working to increase registration numbers with some marketing ideas, find new initiatives to engage players and player development for all. I just ask that you understand as volunteers we are just that!! Sometimes we aren’t always in “hockey mode”. You will see us at the rink, soccer field or ball diamond and we may be there to watch our children, or children of friends or family, or just to take in a hockey game so please respect our time as well.

Should you have any concerns to be brought fourth to the executive please connect in writing to the appropriate executive member and we will follow up as required.

The executive will reach out and ask for volunteer help to sit on various committees, so please take some time from your schedules to help out where and when possible as we have committed to that for you and your hockey player(s).

I hope everyone has a great off season and you enjoy some sun and family time. We will see you in the rinks soon

Thanks Robb Bowman President 2019-2020

THE FIRST GOAL IS HAVING FUN. The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program that provides opportunities for kids aged four to nine to play house league sports. The philosophy of the program is not based on winning or losing, but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just being a kid. Tim Hortons currently supports more than 300,000 children on teams in hockey, soccer, ringette, lacrosse, softball and baseball leagues in Canada. Our sponsorship includes jerseys, coaching tools, participation medals and a local “Timbits Jamboree” to help kick off, or wrap up each season. For more information on registering for a Timbits Program in your community, please contact your local minor sports association.
