GMHA Annual General Meeting -- Tuesday April 9th 7pm
GMHA's Annual General Meeting this year is set for Tuesday April 9th at 7pm upstairs at the REC Centre.

Off the ice or on, whether you see them or not, there is an extremely devoted group of parents and volunteers who keep GAN Minor Hockey in motion and ensure the best experience for the kids who play the game.

GMHA is a volunteer-driven group that supports and provides leadership to the approximately 200 boys and girls who play minor hockey in our community. GMHA relies upon the generosity of time to make the organization what it is. Whether you Coach, Assistant Coach, Manage, work as a Trainer, open a gate for a Timbit team, these are the people that make GMHA what it is.

Lots of people have strong opinions about what it takes to make an organization -- getting involved in the Executive is one way to make it happen. Bring your energy, optimism and fresh ideas and consider stepping up and joining the team!

The following are open positions for the upcoming 2019-2020 Hockey Season (two year terms):

Equipment Manager
Fundraising Director

2nd VP -- REP Convenor
3rd VP -- Risk and Safety

THE FIRST GOAL IS HAVING FUN. The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program that provides opportunities for kids aged four to nine to play house league sports. The philosophy of the program is not based on winning or losing, but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just being a kid. Tim Hortons currently supports more than 300,000 children on teams in hockey, soccer, ringette, lacrosse, softball and baseball leagues in Canada. Our sponsorship includes jerseys, coaching tools, participation medals and a local “Timbits Jamboree” to help kick off, or wrap up each season. For more information on registering for a Timbits Program in your community, please contact your local minor sports association.
