REMEMBER GMHA On Line Registration is open!!
Just a reminder that GMHA On-Line Registration for the 2017-2018 Hockey Season is open!

You can still take advantage of registering early and stagger your payments!   Hockey fees for the upcoming season have not increased.  Basic registration cost is still $300 for Future Stars, $400 IP/Tyke and $500 for Novice and above.  There is a mandatory fundraising fee of $100 for one player or $150 for families with two or more players.  Rep try out fee remains at $50.  New, however, this year is a $50 late fee per player for those who register on September 1st and later.

Registration will once again be on-line ONLY. However, there have been some changes from last year that are important to note. As we changed website service providers from Goaline to MBSPORTSWEB, the log-in IDs used last year will not work this season. You can find step by step registration procedures by clicking on the Registration tab on the Home page and then going to General Information.

As the registration process is new for us this year, there may be some growing pains with it, so please be patient with us.

If you are new to GMHA this year, welcome!  All new registrants must provide proof of age (birth certificate, passport, health card) and one parent/guardian must complete the Respect in Sport Parent Activity course before your child is allowed on the ice.  The Respect in Sport Parent Activity course is mandated by the OMHA, our governing body. Please contact Marilynn Thivierge (Registrar) at [email protected] to obtain the necessary code and instructions for the course and to provide proof of age for your child.

If you have any questions regarding the on-line registration process please contact Marilynn Thivierge (Registrar) or Charlene O'Connor (Treasurer) at [email protected].

THE FIRST GOAL IS HAVING FUN. The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program that provides opportunities for kids aged four to nine to play house league sports. The philosophy of the program is not based on winning or losing, but on learning a new sport, making new friends, and just being a kid. Tim Hortons currently supports more than 300,000 children on teams in hockey, soccer, ringette, lacrosse, softball and baseball leagues in Canada. Our sponsorship includes jerseys, coaching tools, participation medals and a local “Timbits Jamboree” to help kick off, or wrap up each season. For more information on registering for a Timbits Program in your community, please contact your local minor sports association.
